UK Box Office 8-10 Jan

No surprises here. AVATAR continues to run amok, taking people's money with no regard for decency or box office records. In any other marketplace, SHERLOCK HOLMES would be considered a huge success (and it is), its just never cracked the top spot. THE ROAD opened to mixed reviews but a really solid £3,947 screen average. It's been huge at the Dukes.

  1. I loved The Road and I'm glad it's getting some decent figures.

  2. Fantastic Digital Presentation of The Road at my favourite Uniplex - bleak but beautiful (the film - not YOU!) Nowhere in Brighton showing Sex&Drugs&Rock'N'Roll, though, which is a surprise...
Sherlock Holmes is really good fun - perfect Multiplex fodder and my honorary Number One... It is "Vienna" to Avatar's "Shaddap You Face" (showing my age!)
